Sewing & Fashion Design Training Program
Organization: Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC)

This program helps participants acquire sewing skills, learn the Canadian fashion styles and Canadian fashion market. It is a ten week program which provides orientation and skill development training such as marker making, sample cutting, free hand cutting, cutting dresses using patterns, etc.

All courses are designed and taught by industry professionals.

Skills Focus: Occupational skills: Fashion design skills (e.g. marker making, sample cutting, free hand cutting, cutting dresses using patterns, etc.) Entrepreneurship/business skills: Starting own business
