Organization: Skills for Change

This programs allows participants the opportunity to develop real-world experience with practical hands-on labs led by instructors. Participants are trained on electronic medical records, health information technologies and how to integrate technology to healthcare data. It is delivered as a small group model allowing participants to stay connected to the healthcare and IT sectors while exploring different career opportunities in Health Informatics.

Job fair events and networking opportunities with employers in the sector, matching with professional mentors working in the sector

Skills Focus: Soft skills: Job search skills, interviewing skills, networking skills, business/workplace communication skills Occupational skills: Occupation-specific language skills (terminologies) and soft skills, employment training in the field
