Enhanced Language Training (ELT)

This full time, 12 week program offers participants employment preparation workshops, an overview of the Canadian job market and workplace culture, advanced business English as well as one-on-one support to identify their career goals and help with their job search. Participants need to have an English language proficiency of CLB level 5 or above. Material will include the workplace environment, Canadian corporate culture and the importance of developing cultural intelligence (CQ) in today’s multicultural workplace. The course will cover different management styles and how they relate to leadership, the characteristics of a good leader and situational leadership, negative and positive leadership and the “Canadian management style.”
