Career Accelerator for Internationally Trained Health Professionals
Organization: Halton Multicultural Council (HMC Connections)

This program enables highly skilled newcomers to devise a personalized career plan and then get meaningful Canadian experience in the health or social service sector that will maximize their career trajectory. In order to qualify for this program, the participants must have a healthcare background and Canadian language benchmark of level seven or higher.

The program features 12-week paid or non-paid work placement at an average of $20/hour.

Program Notes: This organization is funded by the federal, provincial and regional governments as well as by generous grants from the United Way, Trillium, and RBC to name a few.
