In this 20 week program, participants learn how to use the latest accounting software packages including Simply Accounting, ACCPAC, and QuickBooks along with other essential skills and techniques needed in this profession. Graduates are successfully employed in positions with Canadian companies as: Accounting assistant, accounts receivable (A/R) clerk, accounts payable (A/P) clerk, payroll clerk, and bookkeeper.
Participants have a work placement of 6 weeks following completion of all modules. This program is designed specifically for clients of Toronto Employment and Social Services under an initiative called Skills Training Directly Linked to Employment (STDLE).
